Yes, that's a decent notch and not a seam trim... It was more for what would need to be done to fit his first size rears. The difference between his newly found +20s and the +30s you're running is nearly a quarter in of depth. So if you only had to trim, he going to have to notch .25in deeper than you went.

I think the mini muscle car 610 would be epic... 610s just look so mean when done properly. The cars are all crumbed over and look like hey are scowling the whole time. VG30 would be nice, but it may be fate that your KA already is green. Maybe that could me and intermediate swap until you get yourself a beast mode VG built.

I currently have 6 extra aluminum door pulls right now. They are modeled after the OEM pieces with better than OEM quality... these are not made of plastic, but hand turned aluminum. They are threaded to fit 510s and 620s, but anything with 10-32 threads should be fine. I made them a little longer at the base to ensure that they were long enough to sit well within the door. If anyone would be kind enough to confirm what other Datsun models have 10-32 threads for sure, I would appreciate it. I have 6 (only four shown in oic) currently and only in brushed finish... I can always make more so if youre interested please PM me. If there is a big enough need for these, I can see about getting them CNCd for a large quantity and can even cut Ratsun members a deal. They are $25 a pair shipped (plus PP fees but I will accept PP Gift which is fee-less) or $45 for a set of four. There are plastic OEM replacements for $15 plus tax and shipping so I think aluminum ones at this price make for a good deal.

One of these days Im going to pick up a 610... if you dont keep hording them all in this area. Id love to rock one that crazy color as well. I cant wait to see how this turns out.

The actuall grill part of the SSS grille is shared between the GL models and the SSS models. So youre friend actually has a GL grille and not a SSS grille techinically. Its the same with the plastic grilles as well... depending on the emblems, it can be either a SSS or GL as it was available on both models. Thats why if you look at the GL tail lights (the ones with the center garnish and black plastic surrounds) they match in style; they were offered on the same trim level.

Yeah Im from California originally so I can agree with that. The GF loves all the attention I get from the 510 so she was looking for something to work on... Ive always been a fan of TE2x Corollas and almost bought one before the 510 so if I could pick one up it would make both of us happy. Ive always been a fan of your pops' wagon so hopefully youre not giving up on them for good... \ GLWS
