  1. I believe in the car world that after September it becomes the next years model. So althought the jam says 10/69 that just means its the second month of 1970. There are also talks about back in the day they would title a car based on what year it was first sold/registered. So it could be a 69 car but he flvery first owner didn't get it to title it until sometime in 1970. It would really help to see some pictures so we could identify it. There were visual changes between those two years. I suspect it's going to be a little harder to identify as well as it may have a mixture of those two different years parts. They did that a lot right around the 69/70 timeframe. Pictures would be needed to really go any further though.
  2. Yeah, you want 280zx front struts and they bolt right in to the car. You may have to suck it up and have them shipped from the mainland. It's going to suck because they're heavy, but if you can't find them local...
  3. What are those all over you garage wall?- pachinko?
  4. You can take the stock radio out and install a radio delete plate. It clicks in the radios spot and hides the OEM din.
  5. Im not wearing any pants :hyper: Fixed.
  6. You know if you hit the multi-quote button you can quote everyone in one post...
  7. Those are available through Futo Fab. You can also get CF ones if thats what youre into.
  8. Jon you suck. Jenn you suck.
  9. I was just about to talk about weather seals. Qwik beat me to it. I would venture to say that you can easily build a 510 no problem with all the parts you need... The hardest parts will be seals. Otherwise the rest are just hard to find specialized items that are mostly personal preference or a type of trim level.
  10. Grilles and tail lights vary in price greatly. There are many options for both and some are easily found while others are harder (some almost never seen). For tail lights: Normal US OEM Euro lenses GL ~$550 SSS Coupe ~$1000 for meh ~$2000 for above good Mexi/JDM ~$400 barely ever up for sale so hard to tell Center garnish ~$300 For grilles: 68 ~$250 69 70-73 73 plastic SSS/GL ~$1000-$1700 depending on condition 69-72 SSS/GL ~$300 Safari ~$450 There's a few variants of some of the grilles as well that are a little more hard to find. I only priced out the more rare/expensive items. These prices aren't set in stone and will vary based on condition and normal market value. The most expensive 73 plastic grille used to be about half that price a few years ago. Now they sky rocket any time theyre available (mostly eBay). Any of the 68 parts are going to be harder to find or more expensive because they were available only for a single year here. There's also some of the body emblems that are harder to find and some people do not want reproductions (some of which there are none) so that increases price. Good luck on your hunt to find some of these of you're specifically looking for something.
  11. You're the most impatient person I've seen here. You realize this shit takes time, right? I'm sure they will let everyone know when the units are ready to ship. Drink a beer and relax man...
  12. Yes. Find the tab and slide the connector onto it. Make sure that if the dizzy is single point and there's two tabs, that you open up the dizzy and see which tab has the points attached to it. That's the one you want to connect it to.
  13. This thread should probably be moved into General Discussion and out of 620. I'm down to play when we figure out what the rules are.
  14. Why don't you just walk outside for 2sec. and hook up the coil to the dizzy? Or do you not want to take off your snuggy to get some work done. It shouldn't take you more than 5min. to check if that's the problem.
  15. Coil negatives get grounded on the dizzy.
  16. Fixed. But to answer your question Jalen: yes, normally a broken circuit means it won't function properly. That wire may not be the issue, but it's definitely an issue. Regardless it needs to be hooked up.
  17. How long did it take you to log into Ratsun, navigate to this thread, and post a reply? It would have taken you less time to hook the negative wire to ground and get your own answer. Once I saw that wire was just dangling there, I would have connected it to where it was suppose to go and checked for spark. Then if it worked I would have solved the problem. If it didn't then you know you have another issue, but at least one thing is fixed. Probably would have taken you about 30sec. to hook up that wire and turn the key on to test spark. Just food for thought Jalen. Not every action you take on the car needs conference with Ratsun.
  18. I have a set of bullseyes. I just sand blasted them a little bit ago to take off 40yrs of surface rust. They're ready to be refinished if you're interested. I also have a front grille emblem for you.
  19. Yeah I saw the pictures of your console. Difference could be between years (don't know much about the 620s in particular) or just trim levels. They would be easy to swap out... I've seen a few with the deck cutouts for sale here and Ive seen them in a few trucks at the Lakewood PnP.
  20. This is the worst build thread Ive even seen. Where is the description of the car? Who are you? Where are the pictures? PS. Welcome to the site.
  21. Im digging the way it looks... I say keep that wing. Loving the pipes. I probably would have cut 45s into the ends though and made them two different lengths, but thats just me. Looking good!
  22. Those are really big speakers you have installed in the rear floor boards Jon. Is that so you can jump your Lil Wayne mobbin' down the freeway?
