  1. Yes. This is what I would do: —Remove all the stock pieces making sure not to damage anything of possible —Grab the stock rubber brake lines and take them to a place that makes stainless lines —Come back home and install all your ZX stuff with the new stainless lines —Store stock 510 stuff (if you have the space) for someone else who may be in need in the future. It's always nice to help out fellow Datsun owners (stock 510 suspension is near worthless to sell)
  2. $20 maybe? Each line is two fittings and about 8in of stainless. It's a simple piece.
  3. Yes. The lap belt is secured by one bolt.
  4. Psh bias. But I was just about to say that was my favorite one posted.
  5. No. You won't reuse the old stuff. You just take the old line in so they can make a new line the same length.
  6. Yeah, then ends of the lines are universal to most braking systems so you just need a length of stainless that is long enough. You can take your old rubber line into a place that makes stainless lines and they can make lines to the same size. I believe some places sell already made lengths, but don't know any off the top of my head.
  7. You don't need ZX brake lines or 510 lines. You just replace the rubber lines with a length of braided stainless that fits. It's highly recommended to swap out the 40yr old crappy rubber ones.
  8. When you switch to ZX struts you get ZX brakes. They are far superior to 510 brakes. Much larger... Stopping power is very very important in any project whether you just cruise or you're a racer.
  9. No problem. ZX struts are a great upgrade and well worth the price; it's a great bang for your buck.
  10. Ooo wish I had the money for that one. 69, 521, sunroof, and some decent parts. I'd like to pick that one up.
  11. Many people seem to run GCs with good results. You would probably get better results (and cheaper) from a quality setup for the510keeper. He usually sells a few full strut setups that would be worth looking into. Check out the FS section.
  12. There's a couple JY 720s by me so let me know what you're still looking for and I'll check it out. I've been at the JY like 4x a week lately.
  13. Probably not. Just check where it's suppose to plug in... If it looks the same, try it. If it doesn't don't use it.
  14. It's been deleted by the author.
  15. Are ZX tins the only thing you're interested in for trades? Possibly interested in the seat if it fits decently in my sedan.
  16. Thats Spanish for 'trim color' which are the words to the right of it... The color code stamp would have been to the right of that in that big empty space.
  17. Take a picture of the electricl plug on your bottle and post it. We can compare what it looks like to a 69 and a 70/73 model. Then we will know for sure.
  18. I didn't notice that. Ito explain what I'm doing, I'll be running this on a set of bike carbs (or at least that's the plan). I mnow there are only two carb mounting/air hole sets on them now so I will be cutting out the entire bottom of the cleaner, making my own mounting plate for the carbs, and then welding it back to the cleaner. I don't have an issue notching the housing to clear the brake components and in fact I will be trying to slide the hosing forward some since I have to cut the bottom out anyway. I havent seen actual pictures of the cleaner not fitting so I'm not sure what hits. I just know it doesn't and I will have to modify.

Are you in need of any of the door pieces youre missing in the oics? I have blue door panels (passenger has a small rip in one spot), door levers, window cranks, and door pulls (rubber ones). I also have all the mounting hardware for everything.
  20. What's the height if the filter from backing plate to letters?
  21. That's perfect! From all I've seen they are the same, but I could always be wrong. I know there are two model of Z intakes and I'd like the one pictured. There's also a version where there's a larger PVC return section off the bottom and I do not want that one. I'm more after any of the 510 versions since its going in a 510, but I'm sure there's very few of those stateside. With that, I'm up to be more common Z one. If there are differences, I'd love to know.
  22. If you really want to trade the Keeper then this should be your plan of action: 1. Get estimate from Jrocks shop to fix damage 2. Get charged an arm and a leg for service 3. Get check cut from insurance. 4. Actually only use fraction of check for repairs as JRock does quality work at reasonable rates 5. ???? 6. Profit (literally) 7. Trade James for the box and use profit for new Rusto paint job. 8. ???? 9. Double profit
  23. Lol it was a partial joke... Not like I was hating. I'm not a box flare fan myself. Good luck with your search.
