  1. Yeah maybe on an A10, but not a 510
  2. Spotted DatLady again while I drove to a local lunch:
  3. I bet there would be a lot of valve covers in the Post Your Engine Bay thread... http://community.ratsun.net/topic/43783-post-your-engine-bays/
  4. There's one in the classifieds.
  5. They are old mounts, but nowhere near end-of-life on the rubber. I'm not even close to hitting the hood so I'd suspect new mounts wouldn't change much. I know Draynors was having issues fitting as well. Shits weird I guess.
  6. I have an L20b and finned cover... nothing hits. Just_Joel is the same.
  7. Ugh stop doing side marker work! I really need to do mine... I've been slacking.
  8. Is the weber adjusted properly? They are not always ready to go straight out of the box.
  9. I think your eyes are playing tricks on you. Cowl panel looks like it's just between the wiper arms like any other 68. 69+ extends passed the arms.
  10. Looks like a 68 to me. Opposed wipers, no rear corner markers, and correct dash.
  11. PS. Dont forget to reinstall horn fuse as it not only supplies power to your horn, but also your brake lights...
  12. Will the "Cusco" covers just be covers or will they create a larger oil reservoir for additional oil capacity?
  13. 1. Remove the fuse for the horn. 2. Push in hard on the horn button 3. Twist the horn pad. 4. Loosen the large nut. 5. Remove steering wheel. 6. ??? 7. Profit.
  14. I sent a message along a couple days ago and offered to take over the site if needed. I already host the archived NWDE site. I'm willing to do whatever it takes to save resources like this for the community.
  15. I think that's the harshest thing I've ever heard you say Bananna.
  16. True race cars have hood mirrors and fender pins.
  17. Might roll over just to check it out. Thanks!
  18. Nice score! Anything else worth checking out? I havent been to any of the local yards since I moved to this side of the water.
  19. It all depends on size. Some people cut and flare them but lose the use of the rear door. You might want to do some research on 510s before you think you can tackle it. Its a widely known fact that 4drs are harder to fit wider wheels. Things are always possible, but dont become worth it after you factor money and time into it. You should probably buy the car and drive it around for awhile before you decide you want to start hacking it up.
  20. Because the rear arches go through the rear door. So when youre low and wide for wheels they hit the arch... you cant just cut out the rear arches since they are needed for the rear door. Use the search bar at the top. Theres tons of info and pictures of it.
  21. Flares are one-offs and not available. You can usually find SSS bullet mirrors, but the flags are harder to find. What do you mean "front lower body panel?" Are you talking about the area behind where the front bumper goes? Using the term 'front apron' will help you when posting an ad in the classifieds: http://community.ratsun.net/classifieds/
  22. There needs to be a sticky for this. It's always the same exact information and it always ends up a CL thread.
  23. With my current levels of money, wiring in my clock is about as fancy as I can get right now.
