    That's what I mean... SSR has so many good sets out there, that are rarer, more intricate, and unique that I don't see why those seem to be everyone's favorite. It also irks me a little that everyone just calls them Longchamps. They're Longchamp XR4s. There's also XR3s, XR4Zs, and XR7s. Those are all Lonchamps...

    Yeah, unless good dish is involved, I don't see why everyone loves XR4s over any of the other SSR line. There a good wheel, just like all SSR classics, but I just think they're way over-hyped. I'd love to have a set of XR3s with a couple inches of polished lip, polished center cap, and fresh white spokes.

    Yes that's correct, you could probably make something work without throwing OEM aesthetics off too much.

    It's for a 510. The fronts of 610 consoles are different though you may be able to get it to fit if you really wanted.

    Dave, what do you mean? I've seen that same emblem in that same location on plenty of consoles. They came in [blank], 1600SSS, 1800SSS, and some with the Supersonic badges (which I believe are SSS Coupe only).

    Ive never seen metal ones, but I have seen good quality plastic ones come up occasionally. In fact, theres a large Datsun emblem collection on eBay as of a couple days ago that includes 2 maybe 3 dealer badges.

    It is. You could probably get $300-$350 if you tried to sell it. Great physical condition, rare piece... just missing that one switch which will be near impossible to find I imagine.

    Personally I love it. Its a nice subtle touch... If I owned a Z this it what I would make it look like. Just no hood pins... I hate hood pins like that.

    Yep. Came in 1800SSS models... the small hole under the badge is for a rear defroster switch. Looks to be in great condition, good score.

    I love that vertical mounted twin-tip exhaust... might have to steal that idea once I redo the exhaust for the engine swap.

    What kind of brakes? Just stock 510 brakes or do you need 280zx struts for the 280 brake upgrade?

    Wayno, could you have set your browser to remember your password for you by accident? It may be the browser that's logging you in and not Ratsun. I would use a browser that you don't ever use and try to log on to here... See if it logs straight in.

    Same here... Id love to snag those 14in alum wheels and tires, but shipping with tires would be a bitch. For how cheap they are, might be worth it though. Dave, do you think youd have boxes big enough to fit the wheels with tires?- shipped to 98383?
