I personally love the window visors... I like how long they are. Usually they are only the length of the window since they sit in the glass channel.

If its got that nice of parts and with the history you have with it... its worth a shot to get it back.

I guess I can chime in for whatever my opinion is worth (though I seem to get heckled for my strict forum opinions sometimes)... Xtrememotorsports said it earlier: I thought it was Ratsun and not some snobby BMW forum. Hes right... this is Ratstun not Ratyota not Ratonda etc. Im all for a Datsun owner coming on here and throwing up a project in the non-datsun thread because not everyone owns just Datsuns. But I dont want non-Datsun members who contribute nothing but clogging up the forum with their crap. You want to sell your Honda (however nice it may be) to buy a Honda? Go to Craigslist and come back when you have a Datsun. This site wasnt built to accomodate all makes. It was built for Datsuns. Now if youre a contributing member who happens to own another make and you want to make a build thread or decide to sell another make to fund more Datsun purchases... ok... make a thread. Youve earned your stripes. I dont feel its being snobby, its sticking to the main foundation of what this site is about rusty awesome Datsuns.

Have you even looked at some of the cars in that thread? Youre telling me you wont drive a Hako, Kenmeri, or a Laurel? I understand most people arent into the boso scene, but to specifically capitalize "any"... thats a bit much. Most people on this site would be into most of those cars in that thread if they were just in the shakotan theme (or lowered car).

Ive worked a bit in the marketing and design industry and am doing it more and more lately and its true what you read on their site... they wont accept unsolicitated ideas; especially if youre looking to make money off them. They contract out for all their marketing needs with some develpment in-house. Unless you work with whatever firm theyre using at the time or you know a Nike corporate marketing guy... youre a bit SOL. I know two corporate Nike guys, but neither are marketing guys. I honestly dont see you getting your ideas up to them... its so hard with the big names nowadays.

My mom drove one while I was in elementary school for a bit... its actually the only car Ive ever seen her own in my life (shes pretty poor). It was a decent car, but she said it leaked oil like crazy.

That kind of detail I dont remember... Dad only had it until 2nd grade, but I remember spending a lot of days at the mechanics getting work done on it.

Im not a hater when it comes to specific brands, but I know for sure that the Ranger my dad had when I was little was a complete POS. He used it as a work truck and I know my dad never thrashed it hard... still, shit was falling off of it, computers were burning out constantly, everything was crappy about it. Bought an S10 after that and it was great.

I would bet that the issues were more with the drivers at your work than the quality of that truck. I've always found that when more than one person shares a vehicle that they don't have to pay for (group company car, rental car) shit just gets trashed.

Other than a poultry allergy, were pretty lucky that shes healthy. Sometimes she has a bit of apnea, but it goes away shortly after some calming stomach rubs.

Zelda is quite the snorer as well. As you can see she likes to sleep face to face so it can get quite loud... especially for being such a small dog.

I saw a couple today, but in my haste to make the ferry after school I couldnt catch any pictures. 1. Miata with torn softop, sticker bombed ducktail spoiler (which was terribly ill-fitted), with a rusty bozo pipe on some knock-off rims. 2. Late 90s Civic, bright red with chrome "tear" graphics all over. All the trim was painted white and a huge APC non-functional wing was on it.

Can you not just have that brazed? That would be a cheap option for fixing the radiator.
