  1. Yeah. Soon it should start flowing again. Another dash swap, half shaft swap, and L20 swap coming... all in due time. Keep up the good work with the truck!
  2. Dont do that... there are plenty of clean emblems out there to be had. Mixing emblems is for the birds. Especially on a clean stock ride like this. Sweet Dash!- I mean rims. That looks amazing Dom! Looks super nice in person too. Thanks again for stopping by today.
  3. This whole thread is irrelevant since Im pretty sure that OP isnt coming back.
  4. Better luck finding a different forum.
  5. On the specific topic of KAs they can be had for the same price as a lot of L-series engines. Its also way more powerful than and L-series youre going to find and thats in stock condition. I dont personally see leaving an L in my Dime, but I see the draw of KAs. Its not just a single answer. Its a combination of all those factors you listed. Price, power, attainability, EFI, ease of install... it all adds up to a good swap. But youre correct in the fact that everyone seems to want to swap everything. Like 90% of new members (myself when I first signed up) have SR plans. Its ridiculous.
  6. I dont know and your exact statement was what Tyler said... like 2wks later the wires ended up being wrong. Im not saying thats the issues, but worth the check to be 100% positive. Last page of his thread had the correct answer. I think it was white wire to yellow and yellow to white. Then eliminate the choke heater wire. I think. Check to make sure. I remember DMike threw out a a bunch of good info.
  7. Did you make sure it was wired up right? Thats what ended up happening with Q-tips swap... which I think I remember sounds a lot like your problem. Check out his thread as his problem was solved and its running great.
  8. You joined, you count... even the Coast Guard counts ( I guess <_< ).
  9. Dont hold your breath. One post, one sentence members dont ever follow through when asking these types of questions. Id like to see it get built as well...
  10. I just got an email from Drivelines NW and they are $27.16 each, $19 to install, and boots are $15.
  11. By the time Canby happens everything should be replaced. Hoping to not break down...
  12. Yeah, being close is nice with the bench... Did you just get the u-joints from DNW or did you have the shafts rebuilt?
  13. I tried to get ahold of them to rebuild the my half-shafts, but never got a message back. I might have to get a pair rebuild from them still... I think I might have a set available to me. Ha, have fun in that thread. Theres a lot of "fluff" in that thread lol.
  14. I really need to get my rear axels sorted out to get back to being this low. This is how it was sitting that caused all the u-joint trouble. And yes I have a bench seat in my car.
  15. It just seems like no one is using the question section... they are just PMing.
  16. Looks like its fixed. Thanks Thomas.
  17. I doubt very many of us here on the Datsun forum have swapped SR20s into Toyota Coronas... theres no way we would know what "everything' would cost. You need to search the SR20 builds here to get a price range that we have and compare it to what you will need for your car. This is no where near a direct fit. Expect high dollar. 6-8K easily to start. Edit: Hosestop beat me to a price.
  18. Yeah it seems you have... I went to make lunch and when I came back. I had 7 notifications from you haha. Im glad you like the pictures. I used to be the ships photographer so I was always right in the action taking photos. I have tons and tons of photos of uber badass shit. Wish I could share a lot of them haha. I do have more I can share, but will have to dig them up first.
  19. Id be game. Id be in for a few different ones... "winter/summer", antifreeze, and a paint sticker. I think Ive seen most of these on eBay before though.
