  1. I dont think I can name more than 2 LS powered 510s... I think the consensus is that youre going to have a hell of a time fitting that VK in the car, even with your fancy shop. Before you start making any plans, why dont you sign up on a Titan forum or something and ask for dimensions.
  2. Well then it sounds like youre already settled on it. Have fun.
  3. Im like, who the hell lives in Bremerton and I dont know who they are?!... nevermind, hi Mike. Dont mind me, Im just an idiot.
  4. My first bit of feedback would be to make a proper introduction... your first post talking about a ginormous V8 swap and a "gay ass flame war" probably isnt the right first step. You have first hand knowledge of people trying to fit large engines into 510s and failing. Who are you? What tools do you have? Whats your experience? How deep are your pockets? Theres the old adage that anything can be done with time and money, but there comes a point where its not even worth it anymore. I highly doubt there would be enough room to fit that large of a V8. Most V8s in 510s are small blocks... I would suggest fixing the tunnel and just putting the SR in it if youre dead set on a swap. By the time you fix the damage from the cutting, buy a VK, make all the custom one-off bracketry, you could be driving a completed and built SR 510. Not a years long $20K VK paper weight.
  5. I wish they were smaller... I may or may not have a pair Id like to run instead of the arrows. They would be a good square marker replacement though.
  6. Oh I missed that one... zokusha is mostly stock bodied, chin spoilers, low... you see a lot of C210s in this style.
  7. There are lots of variants of Japanese car styling... Shakotan translates to "lowered car" which is the slammed cars, maybe a smaller wing, and the larger exhaust. Kyusha translates to "old Japanese classic car" so its common to see a slightly modified car with some smaller flares, lowered and pretty clean. Garuchan would be a step up from kyusha and would be cars that look a lot like the racing cars of the 70s. Wide box flares like Super Silhouette racing. Bosozoku is the extreme level of the wide body kits with ridiculous front lips, 9 foot star exhausts etc. Its the most wild faction of all this. Help?
  8. Heck yeah they are. What did it cost him, do you recall? Id love to have an e20.
  9. A friend knows where quite a few of them are for sale, but he says they arent in the best of condition... and they are in Africa. Maybe I can get him to send pictures. Ive never heard of anyone importing from Africa though. Could be fun.
  10. Im not talking about a 10mi rebuild, but something thats slightly recent. Just because you have a newer/rebuild engine doesnt mean you cant get carbon build-up.
  11. Ive never had any issues running Seafoam, but you have to know when you can use it. Like I mentioned earlier it does a fantastic job of cleaning up the gunk in your system. But sometimes you need that gunk to keep the engine running well; its sealing up some parts. You get rid of all the buildup and you could lose the sealing they were providing. If youve got a freshly rebuilt engine and you know your valves or rings are good, Id have no issues running the stuff. Have an L16 that hasnt been touched since Nixon was president, then Id be a little worried. Youd probably just make things worse.

    71' SR20VE 510

Theres lots of options. Give the search bar a good use... theres lots of "posi thingies." I would suggest that you figure out what they are called to aid in better results though...
  13. They have been making plastic ammunition for years...
  14. They are called slot mags. Pretty common wheel.

All that moping around for just a rear-end?
  16. No Idea. Go to their website.
  17. There are a couple that have that section painted. Usually looks pretty clean. You could also buy a can of plasti-dip, spray the panel and see if you like it. If you dont, just peel it off. No harm, no foul.
  18. Haha yeah, none of the pictures you posted are actually what youre looking for. The word you want to use is taillight garnish. The top picture is just paint, the bottom are Coupe taillights which are just taillights that stretch across the entire rear end. There are four versions of taillight garnishes... two for stock taillights and two for the plastic taillight trim. 1. 1968 had smaller taillights so the garnish is longer than the others. Only fits 68 stock taillights. 2. 1969-73 had a slightly larger set of taillights than 1968, but were consistent through the later years. Only fits 69-73 (technically you could install it on a 68 but youd have a large gap on either end and it would look horrendously stupid). There seems to no variation in the stamping, but a few variations in the factory paint schemes. No one seems to know additional details. 3. GL taillights. This garnish only works with these taillights... nothing else 4. Deluxe tail lights. Only works with these taillights.
  19. Thanks. Glad you found something you like.
