WTB an L series 4 speed transmission

Probably the 26" F4W63 like the one from an L16 powered 521. (more or less the same transmission that was in the 520 so the drive shaft won't need to be modified) The 510 wagon used basically the same transmission, but the sedan was slightly closer ratio. The 710, the '77-'79 S10 200sx and the '78-'79 A10 HL510 also used an F4W63 variant.

This is a transmission for the L16 or for L20B powered cars and not really a work horse, so if intending to modify the L20B for more power I would find a 71B transmission.

The F4W63 is 26" long the same length as what was in the 520, so this will save you modifying the drive shaft and the mount will fit.

If expecting to make a lot of power with your L20B then you might like to put a stronger 6 cylinder 4 speed in. For that the F4W71B would be stronger. However, the driveshaft will need 5.5" cut out of it and the transmission mount will need modifying. The F4W63 will do fine for just driving around.
