Charlie69
Received the Weber it is clean other than shelf dust. Missing a couple of parts. Ordered o-rings and fuel filters. Will clean and test carb today. If it is a good carb it will go on the rebuilt Z20 that is going in my 86 720 king cab. Edited April 29, 2021 by Charlie69 1 Quote Link to comment
Charlie69
Well I am back off & on until I finish resolving my father and step mothers estate. Dad died June 18 2022 and my step mother Helen died September 1st 2022 all that is left is sell the house and cash out annuities and stocks then disburse the monies to the six children. making an appointment with a tax lawyer this afternoon. I spent last 2 years helping get all the ducks in a row to amend the trust. dad had no records as my father decided to shred everything. I am trying to get the wiring and the exhaust done by December as Shawn wants to swap his green 70 521 with my 66 520 in my garage so he can do the body work & paint on my 520. I hope to be able to drive my 520 to the mini truck nationals in 2024, maybe 2023. 4 Quote Link to comment

Charlie69
I am working on the wiring and after that the exhaust, then body & paint in December. After body & paint then I will drop the non op registration put insurance on it and drive it to shake it down for atrip to east Texas and mabe even Louisiana if things are going well. I start drawing my Social Security in July that is if they do not push my collection date out farther. Originally it was 65 then 66 then 66 1/2. Charlie69
Well all those plans went out the window. I am slowly working on the wiring at night when I should be sleeping. I am sure the non sleep will greatly assist in letting out lots of smoke when I connect the battery! LOL 4 Quote Link to comment
