sssr20det510
well we made a jig so we can do these now. Its made really nice and the welds are not crappy and its not butt welded like the mckinny one, need your thoughts on it the tubing sits in about an inch on both sides so its real strong and we already test fitted it with an sr everything clears we are in the process of building the tranny mount now Thanks PREMIUM AUTO 1500 Washington Vancouver, wa 98660 360-699-4624 Quote Link to comment
808DA6
Nice. Correct me if i'm wrong, but this would eliminate the need for the normal "x-member reversal" yes? Quote Link to comment
sssr20det510
Correct flipping it is ok but you are basically butt welding it back together so this is much better and stronger. Quote Link to comment
HRH
Looks good, though it might be nice if there were a lip or something on the forward edge in case you scrape something low. Not that it couldn't be added I'm sure. Any ideas on a rough cost? Quote Link to comment

Not sure yet we might come up with a package deal tranny and engine crossmember also price would be differant if you wanted raw or powder coated black we were thinking 200-250 range for engine and we will see when we get the tranny one done how much for it. we didnt put a lip on it because we wanted a clean look Quote Link to comment

heirfaus
Any weight savings? Sure seems like it would be super easy to use on an L series. Just weld the square bar on the other side of the triangular point. Quote Link to comment
