Just use an 8mm bolt., the pin is just a round item. Some used a threaded end with a nut instead of a circlip.

 

Most likely your plastic bushings are shot, that will make it sloppy even if you have the right size pin. With the wrong size pin it would be a nightmare!!

i figured it wouldn't be to hard to get, i just needed it this morning. i got to work! found a bolt that was about right. the shifting to acually to tight now. thanks for the obvious tip, my brain doesn't work to well after working 10 hours and then coming home to kaos.wife, 2 kids, female roomate with a 1 kid. all 3 and under!
