Edz280zx
Bailing wire wrapped a few dozen times thru the hole...sucks dude, I've got like 3 or 4 of them if you were local. Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
Just use an 8mm bolt., the pin is just a round item. Some used a threaded end with a nut instead of a circlip. Most likely your plastic bushings are shot, that will make it sloppy even if you have the right size pin. With the wrong size pin it would be a nightmare!! CharlieBucket
i have bew brass bushings acually, i think i screw up the clip when i installed them. the tranny has been in and out twice right before i got it so the clip was sretched i think. so 8mm bolt, sounds good, they are like 20 bucks on ebay with shipping. slodat
Go to your Nissan dealer and order it with the clip. Probably cost you $5. Quote Link to comment
Llittle_Llama
i didnt know nissan had that part! i am missing mine too, i used a bolt and nut. Quote Link to comment
Edz280zx
For the record...the wire was just a suggestion for a "temporary" fix....the bolt is much better..lol Quote Link to comment
CharlieBucket
i figured it wouldn't be to hard to get, i just needed it this morning. i got to work! found a bolt that was about right. the shifting to acually to tight now. thanks for the obvious tip, my brain doesn't work to well after working 10 hours and then coming home to kaos.wife, 2 kids, female roomate with a 1 kid. all 3 and under! datzenmike
This is another 'item' we all should slip into our pocket when at the yards. The pin from any car or truck up to about '86 should work. Quote Link to comment
