L20b dipstick tube hole

Does anyone know what was bolted to this dipstick tube from the factory? It came off of an L20b. Thank you!

I believe the early 510s did not have that tab.

if anything you would want it if you have the hose clamp part

Return line heater hose. The clamp to the dip stick for the 510 is 27041-73000. Any L series with a heater will have this.

The proper dip stick has a welded on threaded 'thing' on it. The 'clamp' is just an open metal loop with two holes and a small Philips head bolt.

as mnike said its just a clamp with a hole in it.

a good hardware store will have them cheap and maybe even plastic ones.

 

I beleive you can still get brand new dipstick tubes some were if you wanted a new one

The proper bracket will have a radiused edge so it doesn't chafe or cut into the hose. They are all over the interweb for dual hose applications, but find one for a single hose...
