Installing a steering box from a 720 and modifying your column to use an exposed shaft will give you some extra room. You can also convert the idler arm to 720 style for added clearance on the passenger side of the frame.

 

 I have a build thread here - 

- showing a 720 balljoint conversion on a 320. There are pics of the column mods to better explain what I'm talking about.

Rack width isn't that crucial, placement is.  Rack placement chances bump and ackerman.  Placement can also cancel out the bump.  Being front steering gotta make sure you get a front steer rack.  I would get power myself.
