Newbie - Racing B310 (Sunny) from OZ

Hey guys,

 

Just found this sight today, hope I can add some value down the track.

 

I have a Datsun B310 Sunny Race (circuit) car here in Australia. I built it from the ground up as a project and have had a ball with it. Just finished an engine transplant (from FJ20et to SR20DET) and have competed in one race meeting since finishing the conversion....anyway, here are some specs, pics and even some in-car video from the last race meeting (blew the diff 3 laps into the final - so the video is not too long).

1979 B310

Engine : SR20DET, custom exhaust manifold, 38mm Tial external gate with screamer pipe, GT2876r turbo (modified for external gate), 36mm restrictor on turbo, custom intercooler, Sard 550cc injectors, 10.5:1 forged CP pistons, Tomei Cams with adjustable cam timing, Custom made radiator, Remote oil filter & Snow Performance Water injection kit.

 

ECU : Motec M4 with data logging & Lambda enabled

 

Driveline : Skyline R32 5 spead (RB20), H190 rear end with Nismo LSD. (Watts Link coming soon)

 

Suspension : Adjustable height spring platforms front & back. Bump & Rebound adjustable front shocks, rebound only adjustable rear shocks. Adjustable front & rear sway bars.

 

Wheels : 15x7 Panasports with Yokohama 048 tyres

 

Body : Flared guards - all steel.

 

Cabin : Race seat, Willans 6 point harness, adjustable Brake pedal box, 45 litre ACI fuel cell, Bosch motorsport fuel pump.

That 510 has some wicked front camber, its the first time I've seen a 510 with more FRONT camber than REAR!
