GSXR 750 itbs, I'm going to pair them and get rid of some of those supports once they are soldered to the flanges.
They are so easy to work with everything is modular, even the fuel rail is just T's and spool pieces held by nothing but O rings. They are heald together form the factory with threaded rod lol. I picked up 2 sets complete even with the stock high idle nonsense and sensors for 160 shipped.  It just begs for diy...

Evil ugly injection lol.

They look clean and simple stripped down but right off the bike they are a little busy lol. Even has a whole motor actuated fast idle throttle system with sep sets of butterfly's.

Yeah, really. It's not that simple. LOL You mean like this?

1. Buy carbs

2. Build manifold

3. Figure out spark (If motor was efi)

4. Bolt together

5. Done

There. EZ :D

You had no problems along that easy path vintage? lol

Another good reason for 46 pages.

From all the reading I've been doing in here, Vintage is pretty close to right. It's uber easy to install. The big issue is the post install tinkering to make sure your jets, idle circuit, etc. are right for your specific motor.

I keep putting this off, but I need to get cracking on this. My parts have been sitting ready to go on for far too long.

Did you read about how he had issues with mani leaks and tuning for weeks? How cold starts can still be a problem?

Mistakes are how people learn, documenting them lets everyone join in. Any yutz can no hub 2 things together and hook a cable to it. Making it run smoothly is the challenge.

You keep putting it off and coming here to post about how your putting it off. Shit or get off the pot man it's been months of the same story lol.
After you actually do it then you can come back and let everyone know the big issues are as you see them.

Check this PDF out these is a ton of pics and instruction on inspection, install and tuning. Even drilling out jets for different engine cc as we have discussed earlier.

Its funny that you say that cause after all my tinkering, i FINALLY got mine running great on another motor just yesterday, only took me months lol, and no more cold start issues for me either!

:) I've figured my problems out aswell. paying attention to the a/f gauge, even though it allowed me to see that my mainjets are a tad too small and that my needles/diaphrams were rising too fast. used some plastic battery terminal covers to shim my springs up and my midrange is demonic...When I get off my arse and pull my carbs down again. Ill see what size my mains are and order some bigger ones. :)

If you can look at pictures and read a little, and can find someone to do the things you can't or are

unwilling to learn to do yourself, you can  do this install. You will f-up and we will all learn.

^^^^^^^^^^  Couple great posts^^^^^^^^^^^^  Thanks guys!!

Sudden: Great idea on shimming the springs. Never thought about the rate at which they rise!  V8 guys, running holleys for instance, buy a spring kit to adjust the rate in which their vacuum secondarys kick on. Why didn't I think of this.......
