datzenmike
It's always sad when someone likes a set of rims and buys them, then they don't fit right. If going wider the rim has to be spaced inward slightly so the fender does not hit the tire when hitting bumps or if lowered in the future. When the math is done the car looks 10X better because it shows the driver cared to go to the bother. Quote Link to comment
banzai510(hainz)
take your time. I run a 7x15 Rota with +25 on stock 510 struts. I had Panasports but smashed the car destyoyed the rims but rim was 6inch I believe with less offset. actually the bigger 7in fit under better with more room as it was more + offset Quote Link to comment
Payco
Thanks. I have lowered cars and worked with offsets and calculations etc so I will worry about that in good time. No doubt I will be picking more brains on the subject. I do like the Shakotan rims. Quote Link to comment

rosso
Here's a photo of a 14"x6" wheel with offset +10. This has 195/60-14 tires on the rear of my 510 wagon with 2" lowering blocks. Lots of clearance - with a zero offset the tire will be 1/2" farther out and should still be fine. Here's a great site to compare tires and wheel fitments. https://www.rimsntires.com/specspro.jsp Look forward to seeing more pics of the car and progress. Welcome to the forum. Quote Link to comment
