Upper control arm fulcrum

The top image is the old Fulcrum and has an inner seal the second picture you can see both the new and the old one together and the new one doesn't have that inner seal... is that gonna matter or not???

Dont think thats a seal,but 40 odd yrs old grease. The grease in my wiper motor was more like epoxy than grease.

Oem i thought was like felt washers?

What he said did you try wiping it or scraping a little to test?

In Carparts manual it shows some sort of seal or dust cover on the upper arms

Guys...I think he's talking bout the obvious seal, not the dry grease inside.

Yes, these have seals. The roadster ones are the same. 

 

Roge, definitely install seals if you can get them. You don't want crap in there. These also need to be greased regularly.

I will look there is an MG part that works I have the information posted in the J13 parts trhread I think.
