Pedro
Hey Lads, does anyone know what eibach rear shock part number techno toy use for their rear coilover setups? Looks similar to Z32 nissan rear eibach adjustables, but was hoping to get some sort of confirmation if you guys know. Thanks Quote Link to comment
Icehouse
It's just a shock. Any shock can be made into a coilover. Quote Link to comment
Pedro
Yep understood, but want check the length so I can price up adjustable ones over here, then buy the sleeves and make a top hat to hold the spring. Quote Link to comment
heywier427
I will look, but they are too big. They sell with 2.5" diameter springs. You need 2.25 to not rub on the inner fender well. Quote Link to comment
paradime
Too big for what? I have them in my 510 and they fit fine. Their built on KYB AGX short stroke adjustable shocks 1 Quote Link to comment
Pedro
Any part numbers listed on them? It's likely it would still work out cheaper to just buy them direct rather than piece together. But i like the hard way for some reason if I can learn along the way. 1 Quote Link to comment
paradime
Totally Agree about learning by doing it the hard way. It's no listed on T3s site, but in staying true to your philosophy, you can do some research to get the part # ;) Quote Link to comment

heywier427
KYB 743019 Sorry for the first post. I read too quickly and was thinking about the springs. Buy 2.25 diameter springs & seats. These are the part numbers I purchased. They are listed for a camaro. Do not hit them with any kind of brake cleaner to wipe them down. The paint is super thin, and just disappears! Dolomite
tbh they look like the ae86 short stroke rears. Just give Gabe a call or email him, he’s very responsive and helpful. T3 is a great company. Quote Link to comment

Just give Gabe a call or email him, he’s very responsive and helpful. T3 is a great company. Yep understand, just pricing up the components separately first as my budget is low. It may work out cheaper to buy them directly which I might do, but before that happens I wouldn't waste his time calling if I wasn't planning on buying at that point. I do have other T3 parts on my car, but for this one wanted to cobble something together myself. Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
Find the application of parts and maybe buy a cheaper variant. Someone said Camaro struts...buy Tokikos instead of the KYBs. Quote Link to comment
paradime
Flipping back and forth between the KYB 743019 AGX Gas Shock, and the T3 short stroke shock in the coilover, it definitely looks like they are different length. Quote Link to comment
