Isaiahhh26
Fuel pump is leaking gas every time I push down the gas pedal. Replaced gasket and it is not leaking from there. It seems to be coming out of a little hole on the pump itself? Do I just get a new fuel pump or is there a way to stop the leak? 1 Quote Link to comment

datzenmike
Probably needs a new pump diaphragm. It's the only way gas can get down to the mounting gasket. http://www.new-datsun-parts.com/datsun-510-parts-exterior1.html Don't drive it like this. Gas will thin the oil and can generate a explosive mixture in the crankcase. 3 Quote Link to comment
willz
From what I've read, almost all the mechanical fuel pumps are the same internally so diaphragms and such swap over, I think there's one that actually has a dual diaphragm, it's got one on top of each other. Maybe from an F10? 1 Quote Link to comment
Isaiahhh26
I believe it's coming from this little hole but I will check the oil when I get the chance 1 Quote Link to comment

Scgreen620
You have the correct pump yours isn't rebuild able 1 Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
That's not a Nissan pump. They are rebuildable if you can find the parts. That is some generic replacement pump. It's simple... if leaking oil or gas it needs to be replaced. It may still work fine but it isn't right. 1 Quote Link to comment
