difrangia
A local machine shop or even a competent individual with a bench lathe could replace the bushings. Best use Oilite material that is bronze impregnated with lubricant (Molybdenum maybe). Steve 1 Quote Link to comment
distributorguy
Yep, 841 spec bronze or similar. Not a 600-series, which is far more common and has very little oiling capability. Quote Link to comment

datsun6201972
Thank you guys, you guys are awesome. Any suggestion where I can get OE points, condensor, coils or electronic Dist. I get little confuse with some many out there. 1 Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Points and condenser at any auto supply store, even if they have to order them. Coils do not need replacing. Never replace stuff that works, the original is better quality that the replacement. There are two EI (electronic Ignition) distributors. One, is the Remote Igniter (used on '78 Datsuns with L series 4 cylinder engines) needs a remote box, usually located under the dash to make it work. A new one won't work without it, but if you find one in a vehicle get the box. The other is the EI Matchbox (electronic Ignition) distributors and is simply the remote box miniaturized and mounted on the side. It can be bought from some auto supply but they are not original parts. They should work ok for as long as you own it. Alternatively you can look for an L series EI matchbox on any '79 or '80 Datsun that has an L series engine. ALWAYS get a matching EI coil to go with it. If buying ask for a '78-'79 S10 200sx. This will do. 1 Quote Link to comment
