trout104 Posted October 1, 2015 Author Report Share Posted October 1, 2015 Well tonight we took it for it's first good drive since the rebuild, I must say , what a difference the matchbox makes. It actually idles half assed smooth. Good pep for a 1.6L too. The auto is good enough for now, and lets the kid used to driving first before I teach him the stick. Got lots of waves, and even a whistle or two. Really got to get tires for the 15" rims, I think that will help too. Tomorrow change oil and filter, and probably check the valve lash. Should jack it up and adjust the brakes. That's the next big project for him, front disc's....a must I'd say. Just like to "THANK" everyone who posts on this site, for with-out all of U, my life would have been alot more complicated and confusing. Just don't be afraid to use that all mighty "SEARCH" button..it sure helps cut out alot of questions, one's that have been covered many times by many different, more knowledgable people than I will ever B. ohya RATSUN rules Eh ! 2 Quote Link to comment
