Suntzuzuki
Ok, guys I'm stumped: I'm getting a really strange vibration between 25 and 35mph. It doesn't matter what gear I'm in, and below 25 and above 35 are smooth. But when I am in that speed range I get a severe vibration, like when you drive across one of those cattle guards that have the pipes spread out so cows can't walk across...it feels just like that. Have you guys experienced this before? Thanks in advance! Nick 1 Quote Link to comment

datzenmike
Check the U-joints and the lugnuts on the wheels. Check tires for bubbles or missing weights. Both very good answers. If you have the two piece driveshaft, check the rubber surround or isolator that supports the center bearing. The bearing rarely goes bad, but the rubber can rot off and the driveshaft becomes unstable. If everything above checks out pull the wheels off and check the backs of the rims for packed in mud from off road driving and also take a good look at the brake drums for missing metal.
