harlow426@mail.com
Do not use Permethrin, S-Methoprene flea treatment/killer.....almost killed my cat. Just back from vet(big bill).....vet said very common.....do not use on cats or dogs. Found her in convulsions in the back yard.....thought she got hit by a car. Quote Link to comment
dhp123166
That is some toxic stuff, just a small margin exists between efficacious and poisonous. 1 Quote Link to comment

MikeRL411
YOU SHOULD NOT SOLELY TRUST YOUR PHYSICIAN OR VETERINARIAN FOR PRESCRIPTION DRUGS AND THEIR INTERACTIONS! Your Pharmacist or Compounding Pharmacist is more up to date one recent drug releases and their interactions with your current prescription drug regimen than a Family Doctor of Specialict will ever know! 1 Quote Link to comment

Yes.....pharm companies really have a lot of leverage. Was Sergeants brand off shelf. I am going to spend some time researching b-4 I use any such/similar product again. Quote Link to comment
dr.feltersnatch
My mom did the same and almost killed her cat too. Faoming at the mouth, convulsions etc. Not good. 1 Quote Link to comment
Dolomite
My vet has huge posters saying not to use it on cats or dogs that are around cats often. 1 Quote Link to comment
harlow426@mail.com
It was a traumatizing experience 4 both of us....3 if u count the dog who is always along 4 the ride. She is about 82% back 2 normal. Keeping her warm and quiet. My cat is very important to me, I thought she was done 4. :console: 1 Quote Link to comment

dat521gatherer
Nice cat. Very glad she's ok. When our whiskers passes it's going to be bad for our family. I mean real bad. Hopefully not for many years. 1 Quote Link to comment

Hopefully not for many years. Unfortunate cats/dogs have such a shorter lifespan than us humans. We (my critters and I) are quite co-dependant. I am thank-full my life has been enriched by my furry companions. 1 Quote Link to comment
