wayno
F-86 Saber, they made almost 10,000 of them jets(including it's variants), they fought the MiG-15 in Korea. My dad almost went to Korea, but he ended up in Nevada during the Nuclear testing, twice he was in the showers more than 8 hours trying to wash the radiation off himself after washing tanks that were 1000 feet from ground zero, he seen soldiers being ordered to do stupid stuff like jumping out of a plane in a mushroom cloud(popped out of the side of the cloud) and being ordered to lay in a trench 2000 feet from ground zero during bomb tests. Two stayed on the ground, one static and one developed an issue and did not take flight. Man, it was a sight I will never forget, until they get more in the air at the same time! 4 Quote Link to comment
