open to all vehicles pre 79. we had half dozen or so datsuns at last years event. it was alot of fun and crowds were very friendly.  friday night is the parade that u drove around downtown. then sat & sun is car show(sun is for awards mostly)

Not sure if the car will make it as of yet but I will be there regardless. And for anybody that is hessitant due to the "american" nature of the show let me tell you that I was as well my 1st year and I was completely floored by the attention my car got when I was there. I had a guy talk to me for 20 minutes about how much he loved my car then when I asked him what he brought he said "a steel body cobra replica". So this is deffinately a place for lovers of cars in general. This will be my 4th year.

Sorry guys i wont be joining you this year like i have every year in the past. But for anyone else that is thinking about it just do it. Its a very good experience especially the parade part. Ive done it a few years now and have had alot of fun. Our datsuns get much love no matter where we go. I wont be doing it this year due to my car is not gonna be ready yet. If for some reason a miracle happens and my car is done by then i will just register late and show up if that even happens. Have fun guys take lots of pics.

When are where are you guys planning on meeting up? I work in the Bay and was I thinking about taking Fri off due to traffic.

check in friday night at days inn mchenry, behind pep boys from 4:00-7. i should b there around 4. we'll see who all can meet up here before getting lined up in the parade.
