KlassicMotion
Welcome. Do you have stats? Year, engine, trans, Plans? This site uses IMG code. Copy it from your photobucket pics and paste it directly into your post. Here's how: http://community.ratsun.net/topic/691-how-to-post-pictures-and-keep-online-photo-albums/ Quote Link to comment
difrangia
TC, As Joe Walsh would say: 'Welcome to the Club'. Unlimited good help with advice and parts in here. I'm fairly new having been in here about six months after buying my first Datsun, a 78 Longbed. I've also had several Festivas and grew to have highest regards for them. If I found a fairly low mile one in decent condition, I'd snap it up pronto. Stunning reliability and mpg. I also had a bit of trouble getting going on the Photobucket attaching but the link in KlassicMotion's post got me rolling. The 'Image with direct link' method works best for me after I figured it out by following the instructions. When you start getting hammered for 'Oics', everyone is wanting to see your 'Li'l Hustler'. Tonycash
Heres the pic of the sticker that was asked for.. Heres the speedo...The tape around it reminded the PO when the next oil change was due.Few hundred more miles to go. This is where I had a hose leak.It is a flared piece with a bend.Different size on both ends.No part store had anything like it. This is the dash.Looks good to me. 1 Quote Link to comment

Farmer
Welcome to ratsun. PULL FOR FAN.... Thats how I got my 620 at a good price. Guy said he couldnt get it to defrost his windows, as I was currently test driving it. I reached over and gave it a pull. His mouth just dropped 1 Quote Link to comment
difrangia
Steve , is there something special about these stickers or just never there ? I've only been looking for half a year, but all I've seen are only the base material/adhesive or just a discolored outline of the original sticker. The rectangular sticker that goes on the side of the main body is available. I refurbished the filter housing on my 620 and would like to find a sticker for the top cover. If I run across a good enough example, I may have some re-popped. Quote Link to comment
Tonycash
Farmer , that is funny !!! I bought a few Festivas where people couldn't get them to start..I never showed the problem until I paid.On 2 occasions I drove them home right then , when they hadn't been able to start them....Problem....There is a small inertia switch that shuts of when you hit a bump hard or drop the car from being jacked up.Meant to shut off gas automatically in case of accident. Most never knew about this..Anyway , I would just open the hatch , reach up over drivers rear wheel well , push it and the car usually started !!! 1 Quote Link to comment

Ford, for one, incorporated this feature into many of their vehicles in the 80's & 90's. Better engineering ??, I guess, resulting from the firebomb Pintos that exploded in a rear-ender collision in the 70's. My 94 Escort 5-door will die sometimes when I hit a big pot-hole or railroad tracks too aggressively. Quote Link to comment
darrel
Unless there is a ft lupton in your area, it looks like it used to be a colorado truck at some point in it's life. Ft Lupton is just north of denver about 15 miles on us 85. Quote Link to comment
