brad101010
Well this might be asking to much but i wanted to know if someone could send me some pictures of a stock engine bay along with lots of photos of the wiring harness as it "creeps" through the engine bay and all the "toys" that are attached to it. I am starting from scratch and this is my first 510 so i need some help. Please send any photos you might have to brad@ipcs.cc This would be a great help, thank you so much for you time and you help Quote Link to comment

banzai510(hainz)
Pac Coast Shame on you for using bungy cords to hold the battery!!!!!!!On a nice car they are only 8-19dollars. another thing would be IF USING BUNGY CORDS the battery can move around. I would swap the + side of battery towards the firewall. and use the -neg side bolted to the head if possible(behind the fuel pump). Then you can use shorter bat cables and if ever the battery slides fwd the + post of the battery wont hit underneath the hood in case of BUNGY CORD failure!!!!!!!!!!!!! (It happen to me and was smoking!!!) Quote Link to comment

I know it's ghetto. I actually have the stock batttery holder & also bought some threaded stock. I just need to strip & repaint then install. Quote Link to comment

Gensaiken
Supposedly if you pull up the sticker the paint code is stamped in to the metal. Always makes me wonder why the numbers fade away but the wording around the numbers doesn't. Unsolved Datsun Mysteries. I'm after the color called Houston Yellow I think. The 510 I just picked up today I believe is that Houston Yellow. Its sort of a cream white. Just wish the car was in better shape :( [/thead hijack] Quote Link to comment
