The color reminds me of fast and loud when they built the nomad for dale jr.  Save the chrome!

I did get to finagle a a few more "additions" to the list for body work :D

 

The battery tray will get shaved and relocated

and

The engine bay will get cleaned up as well. Holes filled and seems smoothed out

 

And as a cool little perk when I asked the painter if I left a digital camera for pics if he would takes some he informed me that it's standard procedure at his shop to photo document the restoration process so that he can show what was fixed and that it was fixed right not just filled bondo! Which was stoked to hear

and one of those two sets of lights are going in my car, i much prefer the earlier body style lights and now is the time not after paint so i asked the body guy what he would want to do that mod and it was stupid cheap so i went for it

well i have been working on something a little different for the front!

and after i install all of the goodies i bought (including the real SSS grill) 

 

 

 

it will look like this!!!

 

 

i even ended up with the AUS rear bumper too so i can really pull off the "AUS spec SSS 610 coupe" theme i was after

My GF's dad is a CPA and owns his own firm, a client/buddy of his owes him some $ and will prob never pay it nor will he be hassled about the debt due to their friendship 

 

so Scott told me to take my datsun over to his friend and get a paint job ;) 

 

 

at first i thought he was kidding or the guy would be some hack, but pleasantly to my surprise Scott was serious about the offer and the painter friend of his has talent so i jumped at the opportunity

I'm not one to look a gift horse in the mouth but I was in no way shape or form prepared for the 610 to go off to paint.

 

But in my usual manner I have pulled off another miracle and furthered my Datsun addiction.
