metalmonkey47
L20B or KA-E Quote Link to comment
B210GX
SBC the ford is already being done. JK L20B should be the easiest Quote Link to comment
Sierra
I am interested in knowing more about motor swaps. Pros and Cons of both motors L20B and KA-E Or is just a matter of personal taste? I never done a motor swap so any input helps. Quote Link to comment
420n620
if you decide on the L20, why not just do the KA-e for more power for the win. sorry, I don't don't know the pros and cons but sure this topic has been covered on the form. Time for you to do some digging or just wait for someone to tell ya. GL with what ever direction you go. Quote Link to comment
Dguy210
With the right bits an L20b is near drop in. KA not so much. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
It may (NYC) come down to what's available out there. KAs require high pressure fuel pump and all the EFI wiring. I could see an L20B 95hp in a stock B-210 but not 150 without zx struts and brakes. Quote Link to comment
king bee66
with the proper parts its a "drop in," but unless you live on the west coast its not as easy as a couple of trips to the junkyard. im doing an l20 swap, but its manly because i found a decent running l20 long block w/4 speed for really cheap. had that not happen i probably would have went for a carbbed ka swap. there are still tons of ka's available for me, not many l motors Quote Link to comment
Davec
if you do go L20B. you need to get the crossmember from an older 510, then it all bolts right in. Quote Link to comment
king bee66
You have to use an l16 oil pan/pick up Quote Link to comment
