1980 Pro Street/Drag 280 ZX - in Nevada $4500

(long list of parts and pictures)  Not sure if this has come up before, but ad is only 5 hours old at the moment.

(Time Stamp on one photo shows 2006, and others have that area scratched out - either signature or date codes... worth asking why)

Maybe it has sat, but sounds like it comes with everything for solid mount SBC, comes with old school Corvette engine, said it could be used with "stock" engine also.

Caged, tubbed, Ford 9" rear.

Not quite what I'm looking for (and 5 years too new for CA, because it would have to pass smog to be registered) but certainly got my attention.

(not mine, I've never seen it)

71 510 2 door  (4 hour old ad, but I think I recognize the car from an earlier ad)

http://modesto.craigslist.org/cto/4255742539.html

says it doesn't run "just a carb adjustment or something" but "everything new under the hood"

Something odd about that.  No technical specs when everything is new?

"No lowballers. No i wont take 2 thousand. No tirekickers
Or window shoppers the value of 510s is only going up"

1979 Datsun 810 $1800  (posted 8 hours ago)

66K miles (looks really clean and original) - posting it in case someone wants a "pre-Maxima" in their collection

runs if gas is put in the intake... so has some fueling problem.  Must be towed.

per:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Datsun_810

This would have the L24E engine with 125hp, still classified as subcompact in that year

OBO... (unrelated) But that reminds me of a time I walked up to a car for sale (probably Good Buys Car Show) and the owner says  $$,$$$ OBO.  Come to find out, $$,$$$ is his starting price.  The OBO is for offers MORE than what he has it priced at!   How is that suppose to work?  Is he expecting me to offer $1 more, $100 more, or $1000 more....?

LOL. Awesome; wasn't this the one selling for $900 a week or two ago in Portland? Fucking Datsun profiteers...

I remember this---was in Sandy. If it made the drive---good for it. I understand making a proffit, but this car is no where $2000 + I sold a couple that I put way more time and effort into, and a new interior for $2000.....

OBO where i come from is the starting price. Im looking for any offers no one has ever offered more everyone in this area seems to offer less way less.  OBO to me is what i would like and that usually doesnt happen.....

OBO to me has always been closest to my asking price meaning I'm negotiable to an extent. I've also seen "Or Nearest Offer" which makes it more clear that that would be less than asking $.

Expecting more than the asking should read "offers over $$,$$$". Or "open bidding starts at $$,$$$"
