fastdadd
You have the load sensing valve in there too, right? they are a pain to bleed all the air out of them there is like three bleed screws on it Quote Link to comment
Eagle_Adam
Can someone post a pic of this load sensing valve.... As dumb as this sounds I've never messed with one...... Quote Link to comment
420n620
left is towards the front. Pic from a 78 620. It's locate on the right inside of the frame, right behind the torsion rod brace. Quote Link to comment
Eagle_Adam
Hmmmm... Time to investigate! Thanks Kim At what point in the bleeding process is this done? Quote Link to comment
Farmer Joe
adam, ive never gotten it to work... i was going to get rid of it and run the lines like an early 620 without the sensing valve. Quote Link to comment
420n620
Bleeding should be conducted in the following order : master cylinder, load sensing valve, right rear, left rear, right front, left front. theirs 3 bleeders on the load sensing valve. start with the front one ~ reason is, the brake line is from the masters, enters in front of it and flows towards the bleeder. This bleeds for the front brakes. then bleed the rear one, reason is, this bleeds the rear brakes and fluids flows towards the bleeder. then the middle one, reason is, it's the only one left. here's a pic so you can see what I mean. 1 Quote Link to comment

Eagle_Adam
FINALLY got the truck back from the exhaust shop, may have taken too long but it sounds great. Has a nice purr at idle and a good roar at WOT! Yet it's not annoying so I'm happy :D http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q733/Eagle_Adam/79%20KC%20DD%20-%203rd%20times%20the%20charm/BFB363DC-973F-4206-B022-D0E5164D0388-1028-000000797B6EF565_zps5736f66a.mp4 Quote Link to comment

Eagle_Adam
So back to the charging issue...... Had to buy a new multimeter to get a correct result but my alt is only charging at 12.2 Soooo time for a new alt.... Now onto the brakes! Quote Link to comment
Work280
Hi just read through and it looks like a good time. On the charging issue my 620 did the same thing and it tested out the external regulator was shot. Which took out a new alternator. If that's the case ( hoping it isn't ) I would do a ka alt it's so much less to worry about and a 95 amp alt. good luck Quote Link to comment
Eagle_Adam
Is the KA alt plug n play? If not is there a write up for the mod I can follow? Quote Link to comment
Eagle_Adam
Man, I'm startn to loose my patience with this truck....So the mystery valve was found, and found to be mal-functioning IMOHere's a vidhttp://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q733/Eagle_Adam/79%20KC%20DD%20-%203rd%20times%20the%20charm/C0CE62D7-E63E-48AE-9B9B-208A08B36748-792-000000C1909EC413_zps78f3bb72.mp4Kipp was over and I listened to his truck and it sounds nothing like mine.So it will also need replaced during the brake upgrade.....
