southerncross
Anybody have a good link to where I can get the drop spindles for a good price? I've done some searching but was wondering if anyone has a good source already. Quote Link to comment
DISLEXICDIME
i thought you could only use drop spindles on a 78 and 79 with disc brakes. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
I think so. If there were an easy way to put disc brakes on a king pin 620.... it would already be done. Quote Link to comment
Z-train
15 inch rims are required for D-21 disc's. Quote Link to comment
Farmer
I got mine off ebay a few years ago. You will first have to convert to ball joint front end while going with drop spindles. Search for 620 a arms here on ratsun. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
I don't think there is an easy swap to ball joints either. '78 and up LCAs are longer? and mounted to the frame differently. They won't fit onto pre '78 frames. If you want front disc brakes get BEEBANI's conversion kit. You supply the rotor and caliper 1 Quote Link to comment
wayno
There is an easy way to put disc brakes on kingpin 620s, mikes kit, it uses the easy to find 85/86 720 vented rotors and calipers, and you can use your 14 inch stock rims as far as I know, I am using 521 rims on a 1986 720 frame with no issues, and he also has a spacer just in case. He has 6 kits left as of this post. http://community.ratsun.net/topic/11459-disc-brake-kits-521520320620/ Quote Link to comment
