[Project: Tie-down] --- New use for old u-bolts.

I hate having to use my bed hooks all the time. Plus, they're sometimes too high to tie short stuffs. So with a rough idea in my head, i made these w/ scrap that was lying around the shop:

Yeah with a single wall bed there are never to many tie downs :D

i love my bed hooks but strapping anything down that is small is a hassle.

any idea's for the tailgate side of the bed?

Good idea, i have a few sets of old U bolts layin around but usually dont haul anything.

The tailgate side may require some welding on the bed. I dunno. I'll look at it some more.

 

I don't know about making anymore to sell. I don't own the tools or elect used to make them. Won't be right to profit while someone else pays the bills.
