hobbes_the_cat
I am running weber 40's on a LZ21 with a 500/300 cam. They seem big enough. I think a lot depends on the venturi size. Quote Link to comment

banzai510(hainz)
my old 510 had 40s on a cammed L20 and was the fastest 510 I had back then compared to mine I got now. Quote Link to comment
hobbes_the_cat
what size are your venturis? I cant remember for sure, but I think 32's. I know I wrote it down somewhere... Quote Link to comment
Slavs
I would not use those carbs on a Datsun motor because they were specifically set-up for one of the "Ti" (Touring International) variants of the BMW M10 motor (circa 1960s-early70s). The carbs are set-up for either one of three variants of the BMW motor: the 1600ti, 1800ti or 2000ti. The venturis and jets are set for the specific motor, and unlike the Weber DCOE and later Japanese SOLEXPHH series, it is very difficult to change the settings on these carbs unless you completely remove them. You can only change out the venturis once you completely disassemble the carbs. Slavs the BMW Guy. Quote Link to comment
scooter
Ill sell you my dcoe 45's with 40 mil throats, i also have the stock 36 mil throats too.. I wanna go to 55's haha Quote Link to comment
Stoffregen Motorsports
I would stay away from those carbs. Cheaper in the long run to find a pair of DCOE's. You might, on the other hand, find someone who really needs them. They might be worth a lot to the right person. $$$ Quote Link to comment
