SlammedSunny
Hey guys, I have a set of 120Y bumpers coming for my B210, but they arent here yet, and my B210 is in the bodyshop. What i need to know is where the rear bumper mounts too? I am having a rear panel made up to cover all the unnecessary holes and need to know what ones to keep for mounting. thanks Quote Link to comment

ggzilla
Make sure you get the JDM bumpers and not the Australia bumpers. You don't need to do anything except make up new brackets to mount the JDM bumpers. Quote Link to comment
Sierra
I been looking at the Au bumpers for my B210. Did not know that there is a difference between the Au and JDM. Quote Link to comment

See pic: Have them fill/shave the lower shock holes. They will be visible (and ugly) with the new bumper on. See pic: Also FYI, all those holes in the groove where the bumper goes can also be filled. Quote Link to comment

datsunfreak
That is kind of obvious. Question would be how do JDM/ AU brackets look like and where do they bolt on to car? Well, as to where they bolt on to the car, I already told you. ;) As for what the brackets look like... Front brackets Rear brackets, can't seem to find a pic. I just made them myself out of 1" wide, 1/8" thick flat steel. Will keep looking for a pic... Quote Link to comment

The coupe needs a filler panel below the bumper to hide the fuel tank. I made one for my car, I dot have any pics but can get some tomorrow. Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
B210 Coupe has a large opening behind the bumper. You can make a mesh panel to hide it. Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
Front has a large opening too (both Sedan & Coupe) The JDM bumpers hide most of it. Quote Link to comment
B210GX
B210 Coupe has a large opening behind the bumper. You can make a mesh panel to hide it. Or you can do it or have it done right.. :) Quote Link to comment
Bentaxlebob
Pics of the rear brackets.... Thanks for the photo. Never expected brackets like that. Expected the ussual bracket with the long arm shaped metal piece going into the body bolting onto frame. Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
Non-north american B210s did not have long bumper bracket going to the chassis. Quote Link to comment
bullitt210
Years ago, when I ordered my 120Y bumpers from the UK, I also ordered the rear filler panel along with them. I will have to see if this is still available and see if I can figure out where the heck I got them from as I have another B210 project I just picked up last weekend anyway. It will need those bumpers eventually. Quote Link to comment

Sierra
Instead of starting a new thread I figure I will post my question here. So I got a set of JDM bumpers from a guy in malaysia. Decent price, cheaper than Japan or Australia. The front bumper has the small license plate the back bumper has the wide space. Best I could get for a decent price. I seen the brackets for the back bumpers on previous post but I haven't seen the front brackets. Anyone has pics of them? Maybe even pictures of both front and back brackets "home made" so I can replicate them and avoid reinventing the wheel. Thanks guys. Here are some pics of the bumpers Quote Link to comment
Mikeystoy
what did those cost ya? Quote Link to comment
Sierra
I have the part number the front. 62670-H5000 62671-H5000 I did a search on ebay but no luck. I found the ones for the 1200 front and back. Are those compatible with the 120Y/B210? Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
1200 bumpers are quite different. Search eBay worldwide option for 120Y bumper. Rarely will they be listed by part number. And keep looking twice a week. Quote Link to comment
Sierra
Thanks ggzilla, I will keep looking on ebay. In the mean time I would like to hear from others. Any other options other than waiting for a set come up on ebay? Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
OK, I'll let others list the other options. Quote Link to comment
