Finishing the wiring in the KA in my A10 and having a bit of confusion on wiring starter and alternator. I would assume I would wire up the alternator as you would in any other application, but it's the starter that's getting me. From my understanding I wire the orange wire from ecu pin 24 to the starter solenoid. Correct? This doesn't really make sense to me? I'm a bit confused why this would be...? Doesn't the orange wire go to the IGN S/W on an S13? I also see that I take the Blk/W wire (old ignition coil wire, from fuse box) and wire that into one of the relays on can/am. Correct. Just to clarify..... I realize that all I need to do is wire from IGN S/W ST to the starter, sure. But I am unsure where and why I connect the orange from ecu pin 24? Yes. I have studied the wiring diagram on "can/am box thread" ... How to wire KA sr ca into anything. This is actually embarrassing considering that I'm a tech haha! But I've never done an engine swap, except on S13's ... Can some take a good pic of there starter and alternator (so I can see wires / plugs) on their L20? Thanks Quote Link to comment

My MECHANICAL skills have never been in question. The A10 always was/is a parts donor. The game plan had always been to do what is about to happen.
