Any one know how to get a l20 b dizzy in a ka24de

its not going to just bolt up and work like magic

your going to have to spend some monies, get creative and make it work.

I got it! Why can't I just chop of the shaft in the ka dizzy? And out it in the cupler on the L dizzy and tig them together at the right length?

 

I can't picture it exactly, but yes, that's the idea! Other members may have a better idea what you're talking about, but sometimes a hybrid distributor needs to be made. I used to take the tach drive Mallory distributors and put L-series single point stuff inside, just so it would look cool, have a tach drive, and use over the counter internals. You are headed down the right path with your new way of thinking.

Good luck welding them together perfectly straight. I had a machinist cut and sleave my L28ET dizzy shaft to mate up to an Z24i dizzy to work on a Z22 timing cover....

Just don't use a cheap regulator. They restrict the fuel flow too much.

Use a Holley type regulator that doesn't restric fuel flow.
