Has anybody used them here?

What are your thoughts?

 

Per the site, it fits all shocks & NO machining needed. So, is this pretty much plug & play??? How hard was the install?

It also lowers the car by 1/2 inch.

I've been reading about the camber plates by T3 but will need some modification.

looks like a pretty staight forward install, but from the pic i dont actually see a camber adjustment. They kinda look like the camber plated that were on 710's

The camber adjustment is made with the two middle bolts. Loosen, move shock to desired camber, tighten.

 

No experience with these though.

Where are the slots so the plate can move and the desired camber can be achieved?

Looks like the slots would have to be in the piece that bolts to the shock. You can't see the slots because they'd be in the "lower" plate, not the plate that you can see from the top.

i would think they would be in the top plate with a bolt coming from the top down, it would be difficult to adjust when its in the car, you cant get to the bottom of it to loosen/tighten the bolt that is coming up from the bottom.

So the T3 bolts right in? No modification nor added aluminum nor bushing needed?

Iv put in a few sets and never had issues. just recommend using the bearing top hats T3 has.

i like the ground control design better than the T3 plates, you dont have to mess with a bearing top hat, but thats the only difference

True. but with the t3 you need to buy the bearing top hat seperate if i remember correctly.

Dont get those! they suck TRUST ME on this.

I gave mine away after looking at the T3 ones

 

 

movement is minor.you dont get the full lenth of the slot.

i remember someone on this forum posted a pix of their front strut using GC coilover kits paired w/ T3 camber plates.

I cant find it now but if i remember correctly the tophats included on the GC fits just right w/ the T3 plates w/ no modification or what so ever.

is that correct?

when buying also mention what struts cartridge brand you have.

I had the old Koni D models(rod size is thicker I think) and I needed a bushing that different than the one suppllied.

T3 guy knows this.
