DanielC
Any one else have a mental picture of hitting a speed bump, causing a leak, and the metal sparks igniting the spilled gas? 1 Quote Link to comment
pharouh
Any one else have a mental picture of hitting a speed bump, causing a leak, and the metal sparks igniting the spilled gas? Pretty much what I was thinking. Get that fixed NOW. Either put the stock tank in it,or get a fuel cell for the bed. Or at least raise it up. Quote Link to comment
AWSpoofwil
You could take the tank out and cut it and re weld it so its flush with the rest of the truck. And while your at it make skid plates for the underbelly of the truck. That's what id do Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
I really like the E brake JBwelded? to it. It's so daring, so forward thinking, so.... 1 Quote Link to comment
indyfansd
Haha. Working of previous owner. Even did a tuneup when i got the truck. Plugs were gapped at .05 and instead of replacing fuel filter he just added a 2nd one Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Ha ha ha. That should go in the Fabrication FAIL thread. 1 Quote Link to comment
indyfansd
Thats what happens when college kids play too much need for speed. It brings out the "mechanic" in them 1 Quote Link to comment

indyfansd
no oics right now due to it being dark as hell but small things that were a mess like hinge for glove box being electrical tape and truck is a rust bucket, fine with me but previous owner attempted to paint over it with "plastidip" Quote Link to comment
indyfansd
if anyone knoi\ws where i can find a factory gas tank or knows a specific tank that will work in the truck please let me know Quote Link to comment
Eagle_Adam
you should focus on people you your area that are parting out a truck, most PnP's punch holes in the tanks to drain them :( a fuel cell might be easier Quote Link to comment
1lo620
I agree put a stock tank back in it.. or put it in the bed or a fuel cell... Quote Link to comment
