wead
We are looking at extending our range of Datsun Sheet-metal reproduction panels to include b210. How much interest would there be and what's the most needed repairs section over there? Any Suggestions? Quote Link to comment

B210GX
Where were you at say 18 months ago? I could have used some rockers and some lower rear quarters. You guys should have seen what I pull out from the bondo'd up holes.. they were filled up with screen door screening. the plastic mesh style... Luckily I do have a sheetmetal shop. I used to make jeep daimond plating on the side.. #1 in sales on ebay for like 5 years straight. Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
Any Suggestions? Yes, Be aware most B210 owners over here are cheap sonsabitches. 1 Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
Yes at $250 fender + $300 shipping to USA, most of these guys will not order one. Quote Link to comment
RedBanner
I've tried to give away b metal for years. It all goes to scrap eventually. No one ever gets Shit except ride side fenders. Quote Link to comment

RedBanner
Sometimes I do refuse to ship items. Like fenders hoods or seats. For one I drive a 710 sedan.... Can't haul as much as my b210 coupe used to... Quote Link to comment
izzo
Quarters, floor pans, rockers, and fenders. Have them produced in the USA lol. Save on shipping. Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
Have them produced in the USA lol. Save on shipping. Yes, but with the higher cost of US labor the price difference is probably a wash. ;) Mexico production is more sensible. Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
They are making them in Mexico. just have to get the sentra to go with the panels. Quote Link to comment
jesusno2
Then ya might as well form your own panels. Prolly fit better then Mexican sheet metal Quote Link to comment
king bee66
Yes, but with the higher cost of US labor the price difference is probably a wash. ;) Mexico production is more sensible. where talking about australia though, right? i dont think their labor costs are much lower then ours Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
where talking about australia though, right? i dont think their labor costs are much lower then ours Not really. But the thought was a way to cut down shipping costs... And being an Ausralian company means they are probably getting their sheet metal stamped out in China/Malaysia/Indonesia. Quote Link to comment
