Never, ever run 5W-anything in a Datsun, unless you plan on an Arctic Expedition, otherwise 10W40, 20W50, or hell straight 30W will be fine. I run 15W40 but I'm odd. Quote Link to comment

Reading the back of a Valvoline Full Synthetic blend 5qt jug .. Only to find out that the valvoline sold at Walmart is *specially blended* for Wal-Mart. that one is on mr for not being a more cautious consumer. I don't know about other brands sold at Wal-Mart , but I would not be surprised if the case for others as well. I use 15w-40 Chevron Delo in my L24 (240z) and my Furd Tee-ruck. Quote Link to comment
