should be good with 10w30, which is super available. i use full syn mobil 1. its available at walmart cheaper than at the auto parts stores.

Well, what do you have in it now? When do you plan to change it next? Never, ever run 5W-anything in a Datsun, unless you plan on an Arctic Expedition, otherwise 10W40, 20W50, or hell straight 30W will be fine. I run 15W40 but I'm odd.

I'm using 20w-50 Valvoline VR1. Napa Gold '1515' oil filter. High Zinc, high viscosity, high quality.

Reading the back of a Valvoline Full Synthetic blend 5qt jug ..

Only to find out that the valvoline sold at Walmart is *specially blended* for Wal-Mart.

that one is on mr for not being a more cautious consumer.

 

I don't know about other brands sold at Wal-Mart , but I would not be surprised if the case for others as well.

 

I use 15w-40 Chevron Delo in my L24 (240z) and my Furd Tee-ruck.
