Except in the summer when it's in the 90's. But even then it just runs a little hotter but never overheats. Only thing I modified for the alt was through bolted the lower bracket and got a different belt. 1 Quote Link to comment
skyblue Posted June 24, 2015 Author Report Share Posted June 24, 2015 Taking a stab at tuning my carb. Noted all the jets and will make adjustments. Busta nut had some idle jets handy so I decided To try them out. Went from 50F8 to 55F9, which are richer, and it improved the off the line hesitation quite a bit. Not completely gone but a lot better. And a bit quicker too! Next I want to lean out the main jet. Currently have 135 for main jet and 170 for air corrector jet. According to a formula I found online I should have 120 main jets. Stay tuned. Get it? Lol 4 Quote Link to comment
