Busta Nut Posted May 23, 2014 Report Share Posted May 23, 2014 So i put the main bearings in the way they came out.............like this...vv .......Skyblue walked by and started asking me about the holes when we realized that they're in wrong........... The last person to rebuild this engine put the main bearings on the wrong sides........meaning...... .............crank, rods, pistons, and rings were not getting appropriate lube........hence all the burning oil............. Luckily the crank stayed intact while the bearings and rings wasted away........... So we installed them correctly...... Quote Link to comment
