Limit your LSD search to this thread from now on this one is closed

Only way a "chevy ten bolt LSD from a vega or monza" will work is if you swap the complete axle assembly. To do this your driveshaft must bolt up and be the right length (or shortened/lengthened), the axle must be a similar width to fit under your 210 so the tires don't stick out, your 4 link must match up or be made to fit the 210 and hopefully your rim bolt pattern is the same.

The '80-'81 200sx H-165 has a 3.70 differential ratio for auto and standards. They are also 23 spline count, as near as I can see in the dark..

this would be cool to have to power stereo or air ride or hydraulics

Only 50 amp output and only works when moving. This is worse than useless....

What's your fixation with the GM 7.5? Even the GM guys think they suck. I have one...in a Cutlass - it's a C-clip setup. The Quaife you linked is for a FWD transaxle. The alternator is for a racecar and would barely power a set of halogen headlight + points ignition.

DMike, is this dude for real? I love jokes but now I just want punch something.

81sunnyson, do you have a FWD datson?

If your A-series engine makes 150 HP, then you have even less need of an LSD than a stocker. 150 HP is made at very high RPM. Of course, any LSD is cooler than no LSD. But then an air locker differential would be cool, but you only have 50A alternator. But you could use rear disc brakes and it would stop faster. If you use a spool then you have to wait for it, but if you use a a Lincoln it's done right away. What size tires are you using? I favor very low profile for max performance, but most guys nowadays favor very large rims for looks.
