Thought I would introduce myself

Been on the forum a little over a month thought I should formally introduce myself Names Sean aka Scapooch from Antioch, Ca. Bought my first 510 on April 24 went to my first Datsun meet on 5/19 and I must say, I love this community of people! You all are half the reason why owning a Datsun is so awesome! :thumbup: Been into Datsuns my whole life. First memory I have is being in my carseat in the back of my dads 510 looking through the front seats at the wink mirror (uncle also had a 510 and my grandfather owned Berkeley Datsun) So you could say it's in my blood. Hoping to learn a lot here as I only have general knowledge and look forward to more gatherings and getting to know everyone better.

Your grandpa is still alive. He live close by? He do any racing at Sears point? Ratsun minds want to know.

My grandpa is 81 still getting around. He does live in the Bay Area I can go see him at any time. I don't think he did any racing at all. Just loved running his Datsun dealership. My uncle was the datsun nut if you will, I've heard so many cool stories with him and his 510. He was a Datsun/Nissan Master Mechanic and he also ran around with some pro stock drag teams.. he's the racer. Polione is the last name.. were not famous but it's a rare name (I have a lot of family in Spokane Figbuck)(I'll have to try an get him to get on Ratsun he's full of knowledge and loves to talk haha) He's always my first go to when I have questions besides you fellas here at Ratsun. I'll see what kind of old photos I can stir up.
