datzenmike
Looks like an L18 carb. Quote Link to comment
Newkid
How can I be sure its a L20? What do I look for? Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
The motor? Look behind the dip stick handle on the top edge of the block just below the head. You may have to wire brush it but will say L20B..... if it is. Quote Link to comment
DatDoug
Step 1. Grasp carb in your good hand. Step 2. Throw carb as far as u can into bushes. Quote Link to comment

converted_to_datsun
Apparently better mpg's with the hitachi but webber seems to be prefered. If you decide to rebuild do it yourself. It's a 20 dollar kit that's mostly gaskets, I did mine in an hour 1 Quote Link to comment
I'm BLUE
Before rebuilding. Verify the throttle shafts are not bent ... Verify throttle shaft bushings are good. casing is not warped. It looks like a bit of moisture coverage? Aluminum will corrode easily. Lawn mower carbs are deemed un-repairable if they hwve been sitting outside with water in them for long periods of time. Have fun. Quote Link to comment

banzai510(hainz)
Im with Datdoug on this one but maybe a rebuilt one can be had on Rockauto.com and send in core. I could never rebuild a stock carb myself. It was like a Rebix cube for me. If they work they are geat, good MPG and smooth Quote Link to comment
