yeah, i have been looking for months and i havent found any done like mine :D, but i was wondering what carburetors conversations i could do, i have the L18 in the truck

Well, you could keep the weber, convert back to stock or go with side drafts. I would keep the weber that's on it.

Love this truck, thanks for posting the suspension pics I've been waiting years to see that. When did you pick it up? Mind telling how much you got it for?

 

 

Is the current carb not working? The weber carbs are usually pretty reliable.

the carb doesnt work, i picked it up about a year ago for like 1,400

The webers are real easy to rebuild. You can also get a new one for around $250.

 

Cans you take some more pics of the rear suspension?

yeah, i was having a hard time finding a rebuild kit, but i am going around monday to find a kit

These guys have lots of parts and carbs and are pretty helpful.

I got the pictures from the guy that was selling it at the time. Can't remember when it was that he posted it for sale, he couldn't figure out the posting pictures thing so I helped out. :)

 

 

That's a shame that it got trashed, doesn't look too terrible in your pics though. I really dig everything about this truck, hope it's not to hard to get it cleaned back up and running. Should be a blast to tear around in.

well the guys i bought it from, rolled, took out the windshield, cut a hole in the side for the exhaust, gutted the electronics. but its all simple fix stuff and it aint gonna be hard to get going, its gonna be a real blast racing around in

I wanted this truck real bad, just didn't have the funds for it. Glad a ratsuner got it though. If u ever decide to let it go let me know.
