Syncro
Grand theft is bad mmmmmkaaaayyy eh I'm like robin hood, I took it from the middle class and gave it to the needy, and I really needed that car, and then my highschool needed the car, and then I needed money to fix my new 300zx, damn it never ends. Woody620
Went and picked up my car today. Was almost too low. :geek: Modified my front spring perches. Now the floorboard height with no engine. And I took out my old exhaust that sounded like a rainstick because all this poured out of it... even looked like some pieces of ring were in it. I also put in my 740 door seals but I forgot to take pictures, I will tomorrow. Woody620
Put the engine in... then i realized I forgot something... damnit... Now its in! Quote Link to comment

Woody620
ew... flat tops. yea yea yea, whatever. On a side note my friend crashed my old car last night. :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :bye: Quote Link to comment
Woody620
Still in a funk from last night. Haven't really gotten much done today, except the electric fuel pump isnt working so im relying on just the mechanical one and im unsure if thats even working. also its not getting spark, its getting 12v up to the coil but for some reason I cant for the life of me remember how to work on a car today and so im a bit lost on what i need to do further. I have a hunch it has something to do with the distributor since it sat for years without a cap on it, but im not sure. and now I feel like im nonsensically rambling. :geek: :poke: Quote Link to comment
Woody620
So heres a couple pictures of some stuff I got done in the last couple days. But before that overall shots of my vehicles! (mainly my Z) Also notice I painted the rockers and under the tail panels. Drilled out the spare tire well. Gas lid. Custom heater box in. Volvo 740 door seals. Painted most of the rest of the interior. Painted the hatch sill and put in my rx7 seal Took off my badges and window chrome. Random shot of the hole in my firewall from the front of the car. Now its getting shipped off to a friends house which is where it will be parked until its done. I love this car... Quote Link to comment
I'm BLUE
nice gas lid lol those volvo seals look like they belong ! jealous of your floor-pans :hyper: is the rx-7 hatch seal a taller seal ? ( like squish/compress a bit when hatch closes ? ) Quote Link to comment
Woody620
They do belong, and volvos are very plentiful too! the rx7 seal is a bit weird, its meant for a taller metal lip than the z has so im hoping it keeps the water out. it meets up pretty well on the top and sides (which is where it really counts) but the bottom doesnt really touch the seal. not my most preferred seal but I was just copying the crazy octopus build thread on hybrid z. Dont be too jealous, still has a couple holes and it looks like someone went rock crawling with this thing before i owned it. Quote Link to comment
I'm BLUE
Cool ! Might have to get me some volvo seals :D ! oh ! sounds like the rx7 seal works well enough. I haven't really looked at crazy octopus's thread haha. I'll gander later ;) rock-crawling you say ? ! Quote Link to comment
Woody620
recommend it! well, we'll see how much rain water got in next time I'm over there. Its a cool thread minus the new motor he chose. not my preference, but its ok, its not my car, lol. yea im lucky it sat like a truck before too because its already pretty bad.. Quote Link to comment
Woody620
So unfortunately there is little puddles of water all over in my car, I dont know where its coming from. I know its been raining a ton lately, but I still want my car to be sealed. Maybe its just condensation? Also watched this video and got super inspired. I want 4 cylinder in my car now. :geek: Ive got an idea of what I want although its not an sr20det... Oh dreams of long term plans... Quote Link to comment

Woody620
Cleaned up my blower motor and vent boxes, they were pretty rusty (I finished the blower box before I took pictures, It was about 3 times worse than the vent box). Also picked up some poly bushings, custom knuckles for honda coilovers, Z31 front calipers, adjustable FLCA's with new balljoints, stock swaybar, stock tension rods, stock RLCA's, and a 3.7(?) diff. Score! Quote Link to comment
